Fishabout - Scotts Bay near Fowlers Bay S.A

Arrived in Darwin from S'pore and got the Landcruiser out of hock, and hit the road south it was warming up in a hurry. Dropped by to visit our cousin camping at the Lee Point Caravan Park. Three days to Tennat Creek and it was 38 degree's ambient temp, thus the tarmac was about 50 degrees. Next leg was a long drive of 492k's, 6hrs 14min's, and plugged into the power and air conditioning - bliss!

Now we reckon we have a big rig, there's three of these trucks just doing the oil field run for Santos full time, with a back load of fuel to distribute.

We passed a cyclist earlier in the day, he later pulled into our camp site. An American Rick Gunn, Photo Journalist. Darwin to Sydney, we helped his suffering with a beer and ice cream.
You can check out his touring at http://www.rickgunnphotography.com/ click on the "Join The Wish Tour" on the map of Australia just disregard the Red Line indicating the Stuart Hwy, & Tasmania is missing, it's happened before! Some real neat stories and photo's - he's got a knack with the word's.

South Australia's floral emblem

At last, cool to freezing Southern Ocean breeze's at Scott's Bay, and into the salmon fishing.

Early moring with Pelican's on the beach

Neat roll cloud formation!

Just walk down to the beach with a bucket and not a Pelican in site. Not for long though!

Very pleasant to sit in the vehicle out of the WIND & FLIES!
Next stop Geues!
